01 — Problem

The Challenge

Pizza Volo needed a restaurant website that could serve a diverse customer base across multiple languages. Their existing online presence was limited to social media, and they had no way to showcase their full menu, accept orders, or communicate delivery zones effectively.

The restaurant serves customers who speak different languages, so the site needed to be available in 5 languages while maintaining consistent branding and usability across all versions.

02 — Research

Understanding the Audience

We analyzed top restaurant websites globally and identified key features that drive orders: clear menu photography, easy-to-find pricing, delivery zone information, and a straightforward ordering process.

For a multi-language approach, we researched how to structure content so translations felt native rather than machine-generated, and how language switchers should be placed for maximum usability.

03 — Wireframe

Planning the Structure

Five pages were planned: a mouth-watering homepage, full menu with categories, location and delivery zones, about/story page, and contact/order page. A prominent language switcher was placed in the header for instant access.

Each page was wireframed in all 5 languages simultaneously to ensure consistent layout and experience regardless of language choice.

04 — Final Design

The Solution

A bold, appetite-driven design with rich food photography and a warm color palette. The menu is organized into categories with clear pricing, dietary tags, and a seamless ordering flow. The interactive map shows delivery zones, and the language switcher lets users toggle between all 5 languages instantly.

The entire site was built and launched in just 48 hours — from concept to live — with all 5 language versions included.

06 — Lessons Learned

Key Takeaways

  • Multi-language websites can be built fast with careful content planning and consistent layouts across languages.
  • Online ordering integration directly from the menu reduces friction and increases order volume.
  • Restaurant websites should prioritize the menu above all else — it's the primary reason visitors come to the site.
